Centara’s Spa Cenvaree Opens in Egypt

Thailand-based Centara has expanded its in-house spa brand - Spa Cenvaree - to Egypt.

The new Spa Cenvaree will be a prime feature of the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Spa Sokhna which recently soft opened and is schedule to have its grand opening on 1 August 2010.

Designed to a traditional Thai style, the Spa features 11 multi-function therapy rooms with separate rooms for men and women and private suites for couples.

Facilities include sunken Jacuzzis, a pedicure and manicure salon, relaxation lounges for both men and women, and a wide array of water facilities including Vichy rain shower, steam bath and hot-air sauna.

Egyptian heritage is reflected in the signature Rasul chamber where guests undertake a three-step process of mud detoxification and water cleansing, using Dead Sea Mud, Black Nile Mud and Moor Mud.

 Amongst the range of spa experiences is the Sokhna Massage, which brings together Thai and local massage techniques resulting in a ritual that aims to harmonise the body’s energies.

Other treatments on offer include anti-aging facials, slimming programmes, traditional Thai massage, hot-stone therapy and foot reflexology.

The spa uses Egypt’s finest natural ingredients such as henna, figs, saffron, dates, and golden honey in beauty regimes such as the body care recipe to gently remove toxins and encourage a healthy glowing skin.

In addition to the a la carte of treatments, guests can choose the multi-day spa retreat programmes focusing on detox, de-stress or beauty regimes.

All this is delivered by skilled therapists from Thailand and Egypt.

As a post-treatment experience, guests are invited to relax at a lounge to sample an Arabian tea ceremony with a selection of freshly brewed teas including senna and mint tea, accompanied by healthy light snacks.

Centara Grand Beach Resort & Spa Sokhna has 98 rooms and suites as well as 21 villas. All Deluxe rooms, Club rooms and Suites have their own private balcony or patio, while the Villas have two bedrooms, open-plan dining room and kitchen, and their own private pool and garden, and are ideal for families.
