Hogg Robinson Group has appointed Viajes El Corte Ingles (ECI) as its new partner in Spain and Portugal, replacing Empresas Marsans, to provide corporate travel services to HRG's multinational clients.

El Corte Ingles is a market leader in corporate travel servicing both international and national clients in a wide range of sectors including government, financial services, pharmaceuticals, retail, technology and utilities.

"We have been watching the situation with our former partner's parent group for a while. The provision of a quality service to our clients is paramount to HRG so we have spent some time evaluating the best alternative options," said David Radcliffe, Chief Executive of Hogg Robinson Group. "Following discussions with our clients about the most appropriate solutions in Spain and Portugal, we are delighted that HRG and ECI have reached agreement where ECI will, with immediate effect, handle the corporate travel interests of HRG's clients in Spain and Portugal ensuring that they continue to receive the quality levels of service and support they have rightly come to expect from us. El Corte is a powerful ally to have in these important markets, and we look forward to working with them."
