Situated in an ideal downtown area for business travelers, the Suzhou Marriott Hotel is located in close vicinity to the new high tech development zone, adjacent to Suzhou Government and Administrative Service Center, with easy access to Suzhou International Expo Center and China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park.

Spacious guest rooms feature plush new bedding, bathrobes, flat screen television, ergonomic chairs, high speed internet and a well lit full-sized desk. The executive lounge is located on the 48th floor and boasts an elevated view of the city.

Various defined zones in the lobby allow guests to utilize the space for a range of activities, including socializing, independent relaxation, business meetings or simply having a meal. Located in the lobby area are two food and beverage outlets. The Lounge is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, while the stylish Pulp Bar serves up drinks, dinner, music and entertainment.

The hotel also offers three specialty restaurants featuring international cuisine and local favorites. Man Ho is the hotel’s signature restaurant, serving Cantonese and local dishes, fine French wines and Chinese liquors. The restaurant also has five private rooms with personal hostesses, perfect for small parties. The rustic décor and large wood fire oven at the Alto Vino creates a comfortable and inviting environment for fine dining. Southern Italian dishes dominate the menu. Asia Bistro is a reasonably priced three meal a day buffet restaurant that serves a variety of Asian cuisines. Lively cooking stations are sure to entice guests looking for a tasty feast.

Staying fit on the road is not a problem at the Suzhou Marriott Hotel that offers a 24-hour fully equipped fitness center comprised of the latest cardio machines, strength training gear, free weights and an indoor swimming pool. Guests can also experience the ultimate relaxation at Marriott’s award-winning Quan Spa, where they are rejuvenated by hydrotherapeutic treatments and massages using pure essential oils and natural fruit extracts.

The hotel’s location makes it a great venue for meetings and social events. Furnished with the newest audio and visual equipment, it offers 17,000 square feet of flexible space, consisting of 13 meeting rooms and a ballroom of almost 5,000 square feet for up to 450 people.

In celebration of its opening, the hotel is offering a special introductory rate of CNY 788 per night for deluxe accommodations, complimentary internet access and breakfast buffet for two, valid until March 31, 2010.

In addition to the newly opened hotel, Marriott’s portfolio in the city also includes 380-room Renaissance Suzhou Hotel. A third addition, 267-room Courtyard by Marriott Suzhou is currently under development and is expected to open later this year.
