Travelport, one of the world’s largest GDS
providers, has appointed Eric Kam as Country Manager Taiwan.
Kam is responsible for Travelport’s commercial
operations in Taiwan and leads a professional team of sales, IT
support and customer service that covers three branch offices in
Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung. He and his team work closely with
airline customers and other industry partners to broaden
distribution through Travelport’s interface with agents and online
travel partners.
Kam started his career in travel with Dragonair
in Hong Kong and held a number of roles including managerial
positions for the airline in Southern China, Malaysia and Taiwan.
His most recent role was with Cathay Pacific
Holidays as International Sales Manager.
