Kingfisher Airlines launches Kingfisher Xpress

India’s Kingfisher Airlines will tomorrow (Tuesday, 2 February 2010) launch Kingfisher Xpress, a new Door-to-Door cargo delivery service. Kingfisher Xpress will be a same day delivery by air service with money-back guarantee.

The promise of the Kingfisher Xpress Same Day service is that shipments will be picked up from your doorstep and delivered at the recipient’s doorstep on the same day. This service will offer a pick up facility in the 6 main metropolitan cities of India namely Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Kolkata with guaranteed same day delivery in up to 18 cities of India namely, Bagdogra, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Kochi, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Raipur, Ranchi, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune and Srinagar.

Kingfisher Xpress will also offer other flexible shipping options such as:

- Door to Airport (DTA): Door to Airport service offers pickup of shipments from the shipper’s door step and delivery at the destination airport, to the authorized representative of the shipper.

- Airport to Door (ATD): Airport to Door service offers flexibility of delivering the shipment at the nearest airport of the shipper’s choice and requesting for a door delivery at the destination across Kingfisher Xpress network.

- Counter to Counter (CTC): Counter to Counter service is designed for addressing the needs of shipper who can also deliver their shipments to the nearest Kingfisher Xpress centre in the origin city and arrange for their representative to pick-up the shipment from the Kingfisher Xpress centre in the destination city.
