SAS Scandinavian Airlines has formed new codeshare agreements with both Continental Airlines and Ethiopian Airlines.

SAS can now offer its customers another 14 new codeshare destinations in the US with Continental via SAS' New York hub and SAS' new agreement with Ethiopian Airlines includes codeshare on Ethiopian Airlines' flight on the Stockholm-Rome-Addis Ababa route.

SAS already offers some 40 codeshare destinations in the US with Star Alliance partner United Airlines, primarily out of SAS' Chicago hub, which SAS serves daily from both Copenhagen and Stockholm.

With the new Continental Airlines agreement, SAS will add a further 19 codeshare destinations across the US, Canada and Latin America, including a large number of cities in Florida, such as Fort Lauderdale, Miami and Orlando.

The codeshare agreement also includes Montreal, Quebec and Toronto in Canada, and Lima (Peru) and Mexico City.

Continental is SAS' primary partner out of New York's Newark airport, which SAS serves daily from both Copenhagen and Stockholm.

Members of SAS' frequent flyer program EuroBonus can now earn points on the Ethiopian Airlines codeshare flights. Members have earned points with Continental Airlines since the airline joined Star Alliance in October last year.
