Manish Jha joins Anantara Bophut as General Manager

Mr. Manish Jha has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Anantara Bophut Resort & Spa, Koh Samui.

Manish has been with Anantara since January 2006 where he was part of the pre opening teams for Anantara Resort in the Maldives and Naladhu Resort also in the Maldives. Starting as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for both resorts, Manish worked his way up to Director of Food and Beverage before being promoted to Resort Manager of Anantara Dhigu Resort and Spa and Anantara Veli Resort & Spa, a position he held for two years. During that time he oversaw the resorts superior quality service and outstanding operational standards.

A keen volleyball player and cricketer Manish graduated with a Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition from the Institute of Hotel Management in Gwalior, India.

 He has over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry and before joining Anantara he worked in various managerial positions at leading resorts in the Maldives such as Taj Exotica Resort and Spa and One & Only, Kanuhura overseeing their food and beverage operations.

Opened in November 2004 on the Thai island of Koh Samui, Anantara Bophut is a boutique-sized resort of just 106 rooms and suites, all of which look out over the azure-waters and white sands of Bophut Bay towards the island of Koh Phangan.

The Anantara Resort, set on 11 acres of beachfront land next to the laid-back haven of Fishermans Village on the north coast of Samui, is less than 10-minutes drive from the airport.
