International author and one of five top business speakers in Europe, Professor Kjell Nordstrom will take to the stage as a guest speaker at FCm Travel Solutions’ global conference.

Held 12-14 May 2010, FCm’s third annual global conference will this year go ahead in Malta. The annual event brings together FCm’s global network including partners from across the Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe, Middle East and African regions.

Professor Nordstrom will be sharing his unique insights with more than 100 FCm delegates. Currently working as an associate professor at the Institute of International Business at the Stockholm School of Economics, Professor Nordstrom is said to be at the forefront of a new generation of business gurus.

The Swedish academic was ranked as one of the world’s top 25 management thinkers by the ‘Thinkers 50’ 2009 list. His international best selling book Funky Business – Talent Makes Capital Dance has been translated into more than 31 languages.

Professor Nordstrom will be joined by a number of speakers from within FCm’s parent company, Flight Centre Limited (FLT), including a keynote presentation from FLT CEO Graham ‘Skroo’ Turner.

FCm global executive general manager Shannon O’Brien said FCm FOCUS would build on the success of the company’s former events in Sydney and Miami, with a new format that was highly interactive.

“This event brings our network together to share business development strategies and provides an excellent opportunity for delegates to network and discuss ideas,” said Mr. O’Brien. “The theme of this year’s conference is ‘today, tomorrow, together’.”

Mr O’Brien will open this year’s FOCUS with a presentation detailing the road map ahead for FCm for 2011 and beyond. He’ll also reflect on FCm’s victories, challenges and discuss how FCm will maintain its position as one of the market leaders in the global corporate travel industry.
