Dusit International Switches to Private Label Chain Code BC

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Wednesday, 10 February 2010

Dusit International switched to the private label chain code BC in the Preferred Hotel Groups Global Distribution System (GDS) through SynXis Central Reservation System (CRS) on 28 January 2010 in Asia.

The new BC chain code will broaden Dusits sales reach in addition to existing support from Preferreds 28 global sales offices as well as Dusits six Regional Sales Offices in the United Kingdom, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, India, and Dubai. Dusits connectivity to SynXis CRS provided by Sabre Hospitality Solutions through Preferred Hotel Group, will gain significant enhancements to its electronic connectivity and seamlessly linked to its customers and travel agents.

With the positive outlook of corporate travel this year after a challenging year in 2009, making this move for Dusit to Preferreds BC private label chain code can only strengthen our network and contribute to our growth, especially in the business traveller segment. Not only will the new GDS connection enhance Dusits sales and marketing strategy, it will also create an even stronger foundation for the companys expansion and add momentum to Dusits brand recognition and in turn improved profitabilities, said Mr. Chanin Donavanik, Chief Executive Officer, Dusit International.

Recently in Bangkok, Chairman and CEO of Preferred Hotel Group, Mr. John Ueberroth said, Almost a year ago, we signed a unique special services agreement with Dusit International, so I am pleased to be back in Bangkok to witness their switch to our new CRS with Sabre Hospitality Solutions and utilise our private label chain code BC, the first hotel group to do so within Asia.
