Michelle Cox joins Australia’s STA Travel as Managing Director Asia Pacific

Australia’s STA Travel, has appointed Michelle Cox as Managing Director Asia Pacific.

Michelle has extensive background in business management, having worked for leading travel companies both in Australia and abroad in a tourism career spanning more than 16 years.

Most recently, Michelle was General Manager Marketing for Australian Pacific Touring (APT) and has also held the positions of General Manager of Business and Strategic Development for APT Group, General Manager of Connections and worked in senior roles with Southern Lodges, Aurora Hotels & Resorts, Swagman Tours and Topdeck Travel.

Regarded as an outstanding business leader and motivator, Michelle will be drawing on her broad experiences in the student, youth and adventure sector to oversee all aspects of the day to day management and growth of STA Travel.

A passionate traveller who has visited close to 50 countries, Michelle boasts an impressive list of business and personal achievements including winning a Telstra Young Businesswoman award and trekking many of the world’s great mountains.
