Four Seasons Bangkok to Host Michele Chiarlo Wine Dinner

Those in Bangkok will soon be able to indulge in some of the best Italian offerings from Chef Danilo Aiassa and his team at a forthcoming Michele Chiarlo wine dinner at Biscotti (Four Seasons Bangkok) on May 21, 2009. Starting from 19:00, a seat at the gourmet event costs Baht 3,200 per person plus tax and service charge.

Outstanding Italian Piedmont dishes such as Lobster, Salmon Trout Terrine Wrapped in Silver Beet, Salmon Roe, Young Vegetable; Risotto with White Asparagus, Frog Leg and Green Peas; Homemade “Ravioli” filled with Porcini Mushrooms, Ricotta Cheese, Summer Black Truffle; Braised Beef Cheek with Polenta Pecorino Crutin and Cauliflower Cream Brule will be paired with Michele Chiarlo wines, supplied by Independent Wine & Spirit (Thailand).

The event will also see the relaunch of the Michele Chiarlo wines in Thailand now imported and distributed by IWS. Michele Chiarlo is one of the biggest best known wine producers from Piedmont in Italy and they produce wines such as Barolo, Barbaresco, Gavis and others from their 3 production areas in Piedmont such as Gavi, Langhe and Manferrato areas.

Present at the wine dinner event will be Mr. Alberto Chiarlo, the son of the wine maker, Michele Chiarlo who will talk about their high quality wines from all the 3 vineyards and guests will have an opportunity to taste them.
