Manchester City Football Club, in conjunction with Umbro and retailer Studio R, is to host an official signing session at Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi on Wednesday November 11th from 4.30pm – 5.30pm with City stars Stephen Ireland and Nedum Onuoha.

The two first team players, who have a deep connection with the club since coming through the Manchester City youth system, will be on hand to greet fans and sign autographs.

Stephen Ireland has featured for City over 100 times in his career and was one of the club’s top performers last year scoring 13 goals from his midfield role.

Nedum Onuoha made his Manchester City debut at the age of 17 having been brought up in the local Manchester area. He has played for the club over 80 times and has featured 21 times for England under-21s.

The squad is in Abu Dhabi to play the United Arab Emirates team on November 12th and will be visiting the area for a week of warm weather training.

The full squad, apart from members on international duty, will be in attendance for the game and Umbro, the official sports tailor to Manchester City FC, is supporting the club’s trip by facilitating the exclusive signing session.

Martin Prothero, Vice President of Umbro, said, “We are extremely proud to partner Manchester City FC and help them develop their relationship in the UAE. The signing event will be a fantastic opportunity for supporters further afield to meet their heroes. Umbro and Manchester City are firmly committed in creating fantastic fan experiences across the globe.”

Manchester City has a unique link with the area having been brought by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a member of the Abu Dhabi Royal Family and Minister of Presidential Affairs for the UAE, back in 2008.

Manchester City’s next Premier League game is away at Liverpool on November 21st.
