Starwood is offering its Starwood Preferred Guest members two upcoming SPG Moments in China. Members can: Be a VIP at the 2009 Miss International Beauty Pageant in Urumqi on July 22 and 23 and /or Zoom and Zip with Aloft in Beijing on July 25 and 26, 2009.

SPG members can use their Starpoints to bid on SPG’s online auction website for these special Moments in Urumqi and Beijing.

Launched in 2007, Moments by Starwood Preferred Guest lets members transform their Starpoints into extraordinary lifestyle events – giving them insider access to red carpet movie premieres, closed rehearsals with today’s top music artists, private dinners with world-renowned chefs, rounds of golf with PGA TOUR pros and more.

The Miss International Beauty Pageant Moments experience includes:

• Two VIP seats for the finale of the Evening Dress Show at the 2009 Miss International Beauty Pageant, held at the Sheraton Ürümqi Hotel on July 22, 2009

• Access for two to a private lunch with the three top winners on July 23, 2009

• Special offer rates at the Sheraton Urumqi Hotel for the package winners and their guests.

The Zoom and Zip with Aloft in Beijing Moments experience includes:

• Access for one to an information and training session with one of China’s top five Bohai Cross-Country Car Rally drivers on July 25.

• Private racetrack access to test driving skills in a rally car.

• One room for two at the Aloft Beijing, Haidian on July 25 inclusive of one bottle of champagne upon arrival and a Sunday morning breakfast for two persons.
