Roamfree launches Horizon Distribution System

The Roamfree Group, through its subsidiary Tourism Technology, has launched a next generation distribution system - Horizon Distribution - aimed at maximising occupancy and property revenue for accommodation managers.

“Horizon Distribution is fully integrated with our property management system partners allowing them to deliver inventory and availability across the total distribution spectrum such as online websites, wholesale channels, global distribution systems, property websites and visitor centres,’’ said Roamfree Group Managing Director Mark Frawley.

Key features include extensive yield management tools to help deliver increased occupancy and revenue, direct delivery of alerts, invoices and bookings to the Horizon Message Inbox minimising the risk of missing important emails; Auditing and Event Log documenting when changes were made and by whom; Self Service Mapping allowing operators to instantly add new channels and add and amend new and existing room types. Horizon also includes a Pooled Rooms capability allowing rooms to be linked to, and draw from the same inventory.

Horizon Distribution is the latest innovation from Tourism Technology - the owners and developers of the Calypso Travel System which is a popular wholesale operating system in Australia and New Zealand.
