AirAsia to Launch Daily Bangkok - Taipei Flights; Flights from NT$690

AirAsia is to launch direct daily flights between Bangkok and Taipei on 25 September 2009.

To celebrate the new service, AirAsia is offering an all-in-fare from as low as NT$690 one-way between Taipei and Bangkok.

This special fare can be booked between 6 – 11 August 2009 for travel between 25 September 2009 and 9 January 2010.

AirAsia Regional Head of Commercial, Kathleen Tan said, “Since AirAsia’s recent launch connecting Taipei from Kuala Lumpur, we have seen strong loads where strong demands have allowed us to add an additional frequency from 5 times weekly to daily. With aggressive marketing, we anticipate a surge in travel to Taiwan as it is now becoming a popular choice of destination among business and leisure travelers.”

Operated by AirAsia Group’s affiliate, Thai AirAsia, the Bangkok - Taipei route will be serviced by a brand new Airbus A320- 200 fully equipped with comfortable leather seats, which holds 180 economy seats including 38 HOT seats.
