Hilton has opened the Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao / Chengyang in the Shandong Province of China. The opening brings the number of Doubletree by Hilton hotels in China to three.

This newly redeveloped 320-room hotel, with extensive meetings and events facilities designed to cater for up to 750 people, is owned by the Qingdao Sunkin Group.

Located in the heart of the Chengyang District and only nine kilometres from Qingdao International Airport, the hotel is convenient for attractions such as the famous German influenced architecture of Qingdao, the Tsingtao International Beer Museum, local hot springs and an Olympic Sailing Centre, all making for a leisure or business stay with a difference.

The 35-square-metre rooms feature high-speed internet access, a large LCD television and electric-powered shower curtains for guest comfort. Guests staying on the Executive Floor can further enjoy complimentary access to the executive lounge.

Sports and health enthusiasts will be delighted with the hotels spa facilities, indoor heated swimming pool, well equipped gymnasium and squash court.

Unique to Doubletree by Hilton Qingdao / Chengyang is a 260 by 110 metre wide golf driving range where keen golfers can work on their swing before heading to some of the championship courses in Shandong Province.

The Riverside Cafe serves an international buffet daily or the Garden View Lounge provides a quiet space for guests who would like to retreat to a cosy corner for a drink. Guests can also experience top-quality seafood cooked in typical Shandong and Guangdong style at the Harbour Seafood Restaurant, and the HanJiang Korean Restaurant offers a taste of traditional Korea with its exquisite Korean dishes.

The hotels meetings and events facilities feature a dedicated conference space situated on the second floor including a Grand Ballroom, multi-function hall and meeting rooms of various sizes. Guests can also make use of the private rooms adjacent to the Harbour Seafood Restaurant for more intimate meetings.

As with all Doubletree hotels wireless Internet access and advanced audio and visual equipment are available in all public spaces.
