Hawaiian Airlines Cuts YQ Fuel Surcharge on Flights between Australia and Hawaii

Hawaiian Airlines has reduced the YQ fuel surcharge on flights between Australia and Hawaii and Australia and the US mainland.

The airline’s new one way fuel surcharge between Sydney and Honolulu or between Sydney and any of the neighbour islands served by Hawaiian Airlines is A$55 – or a YQ surcharge of A$110 for a roundtrip.

For Hawaiian’s flights from Australia to the US mainland, the new YQ level is A$85 in each direction – a roundtrip level of A$170.

The reduced fuel tax levels now applies to all fares sold in Australia including retail, wholesale, student and industry interline tariffs.

Hawaiian Airlines operates three weekly nonstop flights between Sydney and Honolulu, with more than 160 daily flights between the islands of Hawaii.
