IAC reports Increase of Chartered Jets for Short Trips

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Wednesday, 5 August 2009

An increasing number of bookings for short regional flights within the Middle East and around Europe has prompted International Air Charter to boost its locally-based fleet and expand its regional presence.

While it has achieved a significant increase in flights to some of the top business and leisure destinations in the Gulf region, IAC revealed that the same trend has been witnessed in Europe, where it has received an increasing number of reservations and repeat bookings for popular destinations such as Cote d'Azur, Palma in Spain, Olbia and other European holiday and business hotspots.

Elie Abdo, Managing Partner Middle East, International Air Charter, said, "While commercial airlines are still convenient for long-haul flights, a growing number of elite clients are now looking for charter jet solutions for shorter local and regional flights within the Middle East or around Europe. Chartered jets give our elite business clients greater flexibility in terms of departure time and passenger capacity, while allowing them to avail of a wide range of business or even customised leisure services and facilities throughout the trip, which are otherwise unavailable in commercial flights. Some of the popular Middle East destinations for our chartered flights include Sharm El Sheik, Marrakesh and the new emerging favoured destination of Essouira."

"IAC's 24-hour service availability has also been a major attraction as affluent travellers going on business or leisure trips often want to get to as many destinations as possible. Moreover, we do not have any travel restrictions to any destination, so we are sure to bring our clients to any destination they desire. Jet services likewise eliminate queues and greatly reduce paperwork, check-in time and other customs-related issues, which means that clients can travel faster and much more comfortably," added Abdo.

IAC offers a wide selection of aircrafts from 6 to 40-seat planes. IAC's roster of aircrafts currently includes Piaggio, Premier, Hawker, Falcon, Gulfstream, Challenger, Dornier, Global Express, Boeing, VIP Airbus and VIP McDonnell Douglas among others.

IAC has round the clock access to over 50,000 aircraft from all over the world through its Computerised Aircraft Tracking System (CATS), which is updated automatically on a daily basis. It is able to deliver private jet services within a maximum of two hours and bring any customer to any destination around the world.
