Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals
(HFTP) is planning the Second Annual Asian Hospitality Finance and
Technology Conference.
The boutique conference is a specially designed
education conference for hospitality finance and technology
professionals working in the Asian marketplace. The conference will take
place May 11–12 at UNLV–Singapore in Singapore.
Along with the HFTP Asia Chapter and the HFTP
Asia Student Chapter, HFTP is organizing an education conference
that focuses on regional issues and hot topics in the hospitality
industry. Last year’s topics included the future of hospitality
technology, retention practices in the hospitality industry,
technology convergence in hotels and more.
"Tourism is dramatically growing in Asia so it
is extremely important to have education conferences of this
nature to support this growth," said Jeff Blakeman, vice president
of operations finance for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
"This conference illustrates HFTP's ongoing commitment to our
industry within Asia by providing a forum for hospitality finance
and technology leaders to share ideas and to continue to grow
within the industry."
