Jetstar has launched the third edition of its popular JetSaver Light Challenge. Until 24 December 2009, contestants have a chance to win 4 day - 3 night trips to Macau and a grand prize of $1,000 in Jetstar travel vouchers.

Open to anyone, contestants must participate as teams of two and submit an exciting and creative itinerary of 5 things they would like to do in Macau for a day, based on a budget of $30 per person. This budget is equivalent to the return saving of one person “travelling light” on a JetSaver Light fare.

Ten teams will be selected to travel for free to Macau from 1 to 4 February 2010 for a 4 day 3 night trip. They will need to capture with photos their Macau moments and post it on their blog. After the trip, one team with the most interesting blog entry will be awarded a $1,000 Jetstar travel voucher.

Mr Leslie Ng, Head of Commercial Jetstar Asia said, “The Macau JetSaver Light Challenge is being staged to celebrate our commitment to leading the low fares market and providing more good times, more often to Jetstar travellers. Since introducing the JetSaver Light fare in April this year, our passengers have been responding really positively to the opportunity to travel light and to pay less.”

Applications close at 11.59 pm on 24th December 2009. Challenge participants will be chosen by 8th January 2010 for travel from 1 February 2010 to 4 February 2010. Teams will then need to blog their Macau moments before 8 February 2010 and the winning team will be notified by 9 February 2010.

Jetstar flies daily between Singapore and Macau.
