The new franchises at Maitland, Muswellbrook and Singleton officially opened on 1 August 2009, joining established Europcar branches in Newcastle and Newcastle Airport to provide the full spectrum of vehicle rental services for the region.

The new branches are regarded as strategically important for Europcar, servicing one of Australia’s most popular drive holiday destinations in the famous wine country as well as the commercial needs of surrounding industry.

Franchisee Sarah Williams, an experienced car rental manager whose family company boasts over 10 years successful operation in the local area, said she was excited to be expanding through the Hunter Valley.
