Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 3 March 2009

Dusit International and Preferred Hotel Group have signed a selective services arrangement which  provides Dusit access to Preferreds established sales network, global marketing programmes and distribution systems.

This customised affiliation will allow Dusits properties to maintain their respective brand identity while benefiting from Preferreds 28 worldwide sales offices, added into the 5 existing Dusit Regional Sales Offices in the UK, Germany, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

Furthermore, the partnership will provide Dusit International access to the benefits of global partnerships that Preferred Hotel Group has negotiated on behalf of its more than 700 member hotels and resorts including corporate account management with some of the worlds largest multinational organisations, key travel management companies, MICE planners, select marketing programmes, airline frequent flyer airline partnerships and distribution networks.

Preferred Hotel Group Chairman and CEO Mr. John Ueberroth said, This is a strategic move to expand our services to hotel chains who have a different set of needs than our current member hotels. With its aggressive plans for global expansion, Dusit International is the perfect partner to pave the way for Preferred Hotel Group to inaugurate this new direction in our services.

Dusit International comprises five hotel brands: Dusit Thani Hotels & Resorts, Dusits second generation dusitD2 hotels & resorts, Dusit Princess Hotels & Resorts, Dusit Devarana Hotels & Resorts, and Dusit Residence Serviced Apartments. It also operates its own signature Devarana Spa. Dusits major expansion programme targets over 50 hotels and resorts across Asia, Middle East and Europe by 2012.
