Best Western has signed a management contract
for phase 2 and 3 of the Allamanda condo hotel in Phuket.
The property, which is part of Laguna Phuket,
will be rebranded the Best Western Laguna Phuket Resort.
The
rebranding is expected to take place before the beginning of
Phuket's
traditional high season, which is supposed to begin in November.
The Best Western Laguna Phuket Resort will complement a number of other Best
Western hotels on the island including Bangtao, Pa Klok, Karon and
a
new hotel in Patong.
The Laguna Phuket now has two new brands entering the
destination resort, along with US-based
Outrigger who will be
opening by the end of 2009. Other chain operated hotels in the
development include those by Banyan Tree, Sheraton and Dusit.
