Explore Holidays, an Australia-based travel wholesaler, has put the wheels in motion on a range of unique cycling experience that include the ride of a lifetime - swooping down a volcano in Hawaii! Explore’s two wheel adventures cover the USA, Vietnam, Thailand and more.

Travellers can tackle the Haleakala Downhill Bike Tour in Hawaii from just A$165 per person including breakfast, transfers and use of bicycle and protective gear. Regarded as one of the world's longest downhill bicycle cruises, cyclists enjoy a thrilling journey down the slopes of Haleakala, the largest dormant volcano in the world. The tour begins with a stunning sunrise from the lava encrusted top of the crater and winds a leisurely path to the lush plantation town of Paia.

Alternatively travellers can discover Vietnamese culture and adventure cycling through the North West highlands of Mai Chau and visiting local villages on a fascinating three day adventure starting and finishing in Hanoi.

Priced from $659 per person the package includes two nights homestay accommodation, two breakfasts, three lunches and two dinners, transfer in an air conditioned vehicle and mountain bike hire.

For a different look at Bangkok, Thailand, Explore Holidays has an $89 jungle bicycling tour, crossing the Chaopraya River to the area of Bang Ka Jao and whirring past waterways, temples and markets. The per person price includes bike hire, return hotel transfers and transport.

Or adventurers can see San Francisco by bike on a three hour guided tour of the famous US city, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito, from $99 per person. Fort Mason, Aquatic Park, the Marina, the Presido, Vista Point and Old Fort Baker are just some of the highlights you’ll catch from the handlebars with the package including use of a Comfort bike, helmet and return ferry ticket.
