Air Berlin and Bangkok Airways sign Codeshare

Bangkok Airways and Air Berlin have signed a codeshare agreement.

Air Berlin operates nine weekly flights from Germany (Dusseldorf, Berlin-Tegel, Munich) to Bangkok.

Under the codeshare agreement, Bangkok Airways will connect Air Berlins passengers to Thailands key tourist destinations namely Samui, Phuket and Chiang Mai under the same flight code.

The agreement will be effective from 1 November 2009 onwards.

Bangkok Airways has similar codeshare agreements with Etihad Airways and Air France.
