Having opened doors on the auspicious date of
8 August 2008, the W Hong Kong will celebrate its first birthday
on the West Kowloon waterfront with a range of special promotions.
The hotel has created a special weekend package
available between 7 - 10 August 2009 so that guests can have the
opportunity to stay, dine and celebrate.
The 1st Anniversary Package allows guests to stay for
HK$888+ per guest per "Wonderful" room per night
with a minimum of 2 guests
per room for a minimum of 2 nights. What all that really means is that the
promotional rate is actually HK$ 1,776+ (plus 10% service charge). This rate
is inclusive of the
following 8 extras:
• Daily buffet breakfast per person in Kitchen
• HK$100 per person credit towards any spending
in the hotel
• One daily cocktail per person at Living Room
• One complimentary in-room movie daily (per
room)
• Invitation to a champagne toast on Saturday
night at 8pm at Living Room at our exclusive VIP birthday
celebration
• Complimentary in-room internet
• A special 1 year anniversary gift per person
• Complimentary upgrade to a "Spectacular" or
"Fabulous" room as the hotel calls them, subject to
availability from HK$ 88+ depending on the room.
The hotel's food and beverage facilities will
also reflect the celebratory weekend, with a special Saturday
brunch in the award-winning Kitchen restaurant and in the hotel's
7th floor function space.
The Saturday brunch, which includes Executive
Chef Curt Sassak's New Orleans Jazz brunch dishes as well as a
cornucopia of Asian and Western specialties and free-flowing
Perrier Jouet champagne, costs HK$888 + 10% for 2 persons and runs
from noon to 3pm on Saturday, August 8 only.
All weekend long (Friday, Saturday and Sunday
nights), FIRE restaurant on the hotel's 1st floor will feature a
celebratory 5-course set wine dinner also costing just HK$888 +
10% for 2 guests.
At 8pm on August 8, all room guests will be
welcome in the Living Room on W’s 6th floor for an hour of
champagne and spirits and a cake cutting with General Manager
Krister Svensson and the W’s management team. A live DJ and
entertaining surprises await all attendees.
The W’s signature spa inspired by the New York
City day-spa brand that started it all, Bliss will also unveil its
Blissage 60 (signature 60-minute massage) for just HK$888 + 10%
all weekend.
The W Hong Kong is located in the heart of the
city’s burgeoning West Kowloon commercial, entertainment, and
cultural district. The new hotel is the closest structure to the
