Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Wednesday, 27 May 2009

Until 30 September, both the Mövenpick Hotel Saigon and Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi are offering half and full-day meeting packages for just US$1 per participant.

“Basically, you’re paying the price of the mints,” quipped Dominik Stamm, general manager of the Mövenpick Saigon. “It doesn’t get any better than that.”

The limited-time deal, which is available to groups who book a minimum of 10 rooms at any corporate or Internet rate, includes venue, equipment, lunch and coffee breaks.

“The Mövenpick chain is internationally renowned for its commitment to business travellers,” added Knuth Kiefer, general manager at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi. “This move reinforces that commitment, because it provides companies a platform on which to interact, no matter the state of the global economy.”

Room rates vary and include daily buffet breakfast. A complimentary room is accorded for every 15 paying rooms.
