Caravelle in Ho Chi Minh Celebrates 50th Anniversary with 50% Off

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Friday, 27 March 2009

Fifty years after opening as the most upscale hotel in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, the Caravelle Hotel has slashed the price of its rooms by 50% in recognition of its anniversary celebration this May.

The month-long celebratory discount will be in effect only for online bookings made at hotel website caravellehotel.com from 1 May to 31 May 2009.

“It’s a nostalgic gesture,” said Sheena Shee, Director of Sales and Marketing of the Caravelle. “We wanted to bring people back in time, as we journey back in time to remember the hotel’s history, and what better way to do that than with old-fashioned price points. 50% discount off on room rates in May is also a way for us to thank our clients for their support and with that, they can together with us celebrate our 50 golden years anniversary.”

All stays booked under the promotion must be completed by 31 December 2009.
