Wine and beer will be charged in Economy Class on flights within Europe. Red and white wine will cost 5 euros and beer 4 euros. Sparkling wine and stronger alcoholic drinks already cost 5 euros.

In Business Class all drinks are free of charge. In Economy Class on intercontinental flights there is also a fee for sparkling wine and stronger alcohol, while wine and beer is free of charge.

Alcoholic drinks are for sale on European flights departing at 10:00 and thereafter, except on the routes to and from Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius.

Also from 12 January 2010, it will be possible to order cosmetics, jewellery, sweets and other presents from Finnair's pre-order selection to almost all European flights to and from Helsinki excluding flights to and from Riga, St. Petersburg, Stockholm, Tallinn and Vilnius. High-quality wines are also available for flights departing from Helsinki.

Previously pre-orders could be made for the flight towards Helsinki from 23 European cities. Now orders are also available for the flight leaving from Helsinki. The 11 new pre-order destinations include Berlin, Copenhagen, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Kiev and Oslo.

The minimum sum for pre-orders is 30 euros. All passengers receive 10% discount for pre-orders made online. Finnair Plus members earn Plus points for their purchases.
