New HICAP Events for Singapore and Tokyo

The hosts and organizers of Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP) - Burba Hotel Network (BHN) and Horwath HTL - are to launch two new events; HICAP Update Japan and HICAP Update Southeast Asia with the support from Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels (JLLH), a global leader in the hotel investment industry.

The two new events will be an extension of HICAP, which takes place every October in Hong Kong and is one of the region’s largest and longest-running hotel investment conferences. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2009, HICAP continues to be a must-attend event.

With the creation of the HICAP Update Japan and HICAP Update Southeast Asia, attendees will be presented with two targeted, high-end, one-day events focusing on major issues driving the hotel investment sector in these markets.

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels, which used to operate its own events in both cities (the former Asia Pacific Hotel Investment Conference in Singapore and Hotel Investment Forum in Tokyo), will have strong involvement in the two new conferences as a Founding Sponsor.

HICAP Update Japan and HICAP Update Southeast Asia will be held in May 2009. The official dates and locations are expected to be confirmed next week.
