Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Tuesday, 26 May 2009

Hua Ye Xiamen Hotel and Accor Asia Pacific Shanghai have jointly decided that, effective August 1st 2009, the hotel will discontinue using the Sofitel brand and related management services for the currently named Sofitel Plaza Xiamen.

Accor has managed the hotel under the Sofitel brand since July 2005. Both parties will continue to work alongside each other in Vietnam with the Sofitel Plaza Saigon and Sofitel Plaza Hanoi.

“The change in brand and management services will not affect our continued commitment to providing exceptional service to guests as well as performing our contractual responsibilities to our staff, suppliers, and of course, our guests,” said a spokesman of Hua Ye Xiamen Hotel.
