Mandarin Oriental in Mexico and Boston Receive AAA Five Diamond Award

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Wednesday, 25 November 2009

The Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico and the Mandarin Oriental, Boston have been awarded the prestigious American Automobile Association’s (AAA) Five Diamond Award for the year 2010.

“The Five Diamond award is a direct reflection of the dedication and outstanding service provided by each and every employee at Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya and at Mandarin Oriental, Boston” said Michael Hobson, Chief Marketing Officer, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. “We look forward to celebrating with our guests in the coming year.”

To be considered for AAA approval and rating, lodgings and restaurants must undergo a thorough inspection by one of AAA’s 65 full-time, trained, professional evaluators. Five Diamond establishments go through a more extensive review.

In celebration of this accolade, Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico has created a suitably festive “Five Diamonds, Five Cheers” promotion. The “Five Diamonds, Five Cheers” is priced from US$ 555 per night and includes:

• Accommodation
• Breakfast daily in Aguamarina restaurant
• A one-time resort credit of $555 to be used during the stay towards incidental charges at restaurants, bars and spa
• A chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries on arrival
• Celebratory amenity from the Spa

The rate is subject to availability, exclusive of tax and service and valid from now through 30 November 2010. This offer is available for stays of five nights or more. Other terms and conditions apply.
