The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas has selected Rainmaker’s Product Suite revolution to help it maximize profitability.

The Rainmaker Group is a provider of automated profit optimization software and services for the gaming hospitality industry. It provides revenue optimization services to companies that include Wynn Las Vegas, MGM MIRAGE, Trump Entertainment Resorts, and Harrah’s Entertainment.

“The Hard Rock executive team evaluated many systems before selecting revolution for its Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas,” said Tom Buoy, senior vice president revenue management and distribution for Morgans Hotel Group. “Morgans needed an effective profit optimization system designed specifically for the gaming hotel industry. Unlike conventional hotel revenue management systems, revolution bases its rate optimization on a guest’s potential value to of all areas of a property.”

System implementation is anticipated in the third quarter of 2009.

revolution is a revenue management system that considers Total Customer Value, which includes not only hotel revenues, but includes potential revenue from gaming, food and beverage, spa, and other significant sources of customer value to determine optimal availability conditions. The revolution system also analyzes and factors in forecasted demand from local influences like holidays and city-wide events to recommend optimized rates for each guest segment.
