Double Choc Pedicure at W Hong Kong; Spa launches Buy One Get One Free

Bliss Hong Kong, the spa at the W Hong Kong, has launched a 60 minute Double Choc Pedicure, a treatment the spa describes as “a chocolate fete for your feet”.

Available for HK$570 + 10% until the 30th April, the treatment includes a hot chocolate milk skin-smoothing soak, a shin-sloughing sugar scrub combined with all the prerequisites of a perfect pedicure – with a cup of supremely creamy W Hong Kong cocoa served on the side.

While many know of the benefits when eaten, chocolate also has a number of impressive effects when applied to the skin. Rich in fatty acids which plump-out and firm your skin, cocoa butter also has great softening effects and contains glycerides which deliver moisturizing lipids.

As “smell” is one of our most evocative senses stimulating memory and emotions, the scent of chocolate has also been proven to stimulate your body’s “feel good” chemicals and increases your sense of well-being as we associate it with indulgence and pleasure.

Get seated in Bliss’s unique floor-to-ceiling Pedicure couches while you sample the infamous brownies on offer at the buffet. Sit back, relax and allow your feet to be soaked in hot chocolate – warm enough to make your troubles melt carelessly away. Next, allow your feet and calves to be scrubbed with a gorgeous blend of sugar mixed with chocolate essential oils. Finally, scrumptious cocoa cream is used to massage your feet before the toe-grooming pedicure perfection begins.

Bliss is located on the 72nd floor of the W Hong Kong. The modern spa boasts over 9,000 square feet of tension-fighting facilities offering awesome infinity views of Victoria Harbour and the spectacular architecture of West Kowloon.
