KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol have combined forces to offer discounts for travellers.

The KLM campaign “De Wereld dichterbij” (The World Within Reach) offers customers substantial discounts on return tickets out of the Netherlands. All of these special offers also include discounts on parking fees at Schiphol. Passengers who purchase a KLM discount ticket can get up to 40% off parking fees through Schiphol Smart Parking. KLM and Schiphol guarantee availability of tickets and parking. This special offer runs through 30 June.

The joint discount offer is being promoted via a national advertising campaign, including television and radio commercials, as well as other media.

Maarten de Groof,  commercial director of the Schiphol Group, said, “Schiphol connects the Netherlands with the rest of the world and is therefore of great importance to the Dutch economy. That is exactly why we are investing in attractive offers for travellers in this time of economic upheaval. Together with KLM, we have come up with a unique offer, ensuring KLM passengers even more benefits with Schiphol Smart Parking.”
