One of Australia’s leading provider of student and
youth holidays, STA Travel, has opened a new store in Geelong, Victoria.
The new Geelong branch is the first in Australia to feature
STA Travel’s new shop design as part of the refreshed look and
broader product range being rolled out by the company across the
globe.
“In November last year we
announced that we would be strengthening our niche market position
through a new look and broader product range in addition to the
free-spirited adventure on which the company was originally
based,’’ said Director of Product & Marketing, Basil Hyman.
“Our Geelong store is the first
to be built from the ground up with that new philosophy in mind
and while still providing the same outstanding service and value
for our loyal student client base, we will expand our offerings to
meet the requirements of a our evolving customer.’’
Employing four staff, the new Geelong branch at 109 Moorabool
Street, will be open six days a week.
It replaces
the STA Travel store successfully operated at Deakin Univeristy’s
Waurn Ponds Campus for 11 years.
