FCm Travel Solutions appoints Rob Flint as Global Brand Leader

Travel industry veteran, Rob Flint, has been appointed as the new global brand leader for FCm Travel Solutions.

With more than 25 years experience in the travel industry, Rob will focus on consolidating the growth FCm has achieved over recent years and will oversee the companys global operations, sales and account management.

His role includes the ongoing management of FCms worldwide partner network and will specifically include the development of global and regional sales.

He will also be responsible for developing strategic industry alliances across the globe, and continuously building on FCms service capabilities to meet the growing needs of the corporate market.

Rob has been employed with FCms parent company, Flight Centre Limited (FCL), for 18 years. Most recently he was executive general manager for FCL Australias operations in Victoria and Tasmania for three years, and from 2003 to 2005 he was Australian leader for the specialist brands, Escape Travel and Travel Associates.

Rob offers an extensive working knowledge of the travel sector, particularly in Asia Pacific and Europe. He gained seven years hands-on experience as a travel consultant and team leader after joining FCL Australia in 1991. For eight years prior to this, he worked in various operational management roles within the industry, during which he was based in France and travelled extensively to most European countries.

Rob will take up the new role on 6 April and be based in FCms global headquarters in Brisbane, Australia.
