Klaus Christandl joins Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket as General Manager

Mr. Klaus Christandl has been appointed as the new General Manager of the Sheraton Grande Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort, Phuket.

Mr. Christandl joined Sheraton Grande Laguna from Sheraton Miramar Resort, Egypt where he also held the position of General Manager. Having previous also worked in Thailand, Mr. Christandl has a wealth of international hotel management experience, combined with cross cultural expertise.

Mr. Christandl reports to Wayne Buckingham, Regional Vice President, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Surrounded by tranquil lagoons and facing the Andaman Sea, the Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket offers a range of luxuriously appointed rooms and villas, eight dining and entertainment outlets and an abundance of recreational activities, including a 323m swimming pool and floodlit tennis courts.

A twenty minute drive from Phuket’s International Airport, the resort is part of Laguna Phuket.
