Mohammed Al Maidama appointed DOS - GCC at Ritz-Carlton Singapore

With an established track record in driving top line sales from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, Mohammed Al Maidama was recently appointed Director of Sales - GCC at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

In his new role, Maidama will oversee the sales efforts from the corporate and group sales segments and handle diplomatic and royal family ties from the GCC countries.

Prior to his arrival in Singapore, Maidama was Director of Sales - Business Travel and Groups at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai. Over the two years he was there since 2007, the revenue of the national segment grew 70%.

While at The Ritz-Carlton Regional Sales Office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Maidama was responsible for driving sales from Saudi Arabia to The Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa and The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai.

Throughout his career that spanned Marriott International Global Sales Offices in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Manama, Bahrain, Maidama acquired in-depth knowledge of the GCC market and was instrumental in being the liaison between the properties and the Royal Families in the region.

A native of Yemen, Maidama holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Dubai.

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is a 32-storey luxury hotel located in Marina Bay, next to the Esplanade Theatres on the Bay. Set amidst seven acres of tropical landscape, all guest rooms and bathrooms offer views of either Marina Bay or Kallang Bay and the city skyline.
