V Australia, Sir Richard Branson’s new long-haul
Australian carrier and a part of the Virgin Blue Group of Airlines, has
chosen Sabre Airline Solutions as its partner of choice for its flight
operations and crew management needs.
V Australia will use the
Sabre AirCrews Crew Management Suite and the Sabre AirOps
Operations Suite to manage its daily maintenance and flight
operations, automate flight planning, produce flight plans,
schedule and manage crew.
Virgin Blue and Sabre have had a thriving
partnership for over seven years. Virgin Blue chose Sabre’s
integrated, proven solutions several years ago for flight
scheduling, flight planning, revenue management, flight operations
and crew management.
