Marriott has opened a new hotel in Shenzhen, China, one of the fastest growing cities in the world. The 411- room JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is the fifth JW Marriott branded hotel in China. Colin Young is general manager and Eric Loh the director of marketing.

JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen offers spacious rooms and suites, fully equipped with 42-inch flat screen TVs, high-speed internet, rainforest showers, oversized work desks and 24-hour room service. The executive lounge on the 27th floor provides a panoramic view of the city skyline.

From cocktails to fine dining, JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen’s four restaurants have something for everyone. The Lounge provides intimate areas for social and business gatherings while Café Chinois has seating for 180 diners and features an international grand buffet. Man Ho Restaurant offers six themed private rooms, a live noodle and dim sum cooking station along with one of the largest selections of Mao-tai and Chinese liquors in Shenzhen. Guests can also experience the sushi and teppanyaki counter at Shinzuku Japanese restaurant, open daily for lunch and dinner. For sandwiches and salads, Java+ is open throughout the day.

Meeting space is abundant at the hotel with a 600 square meter grand ballroom, four meeting rooms, ranging from 52 to 89 square meters and a 58 square meter board room.

Guests can relax and unwind after a full day at Marriott’s signature Quan Spa. Eight treatment rooms and a myriad of services including massages, scrubs, wraps and hydro-therapy, promise to ease away any stress.

Centrally located in the heart of the city, the hotel is surrounded by shopping malls and has easy access to major landmarks such as the Shenzhen Convention Exhibit Center, Shenzhen Window of the World Safari Park and TianAn Cyber Park.

Other JW branded properties in China include 602-room JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong, 342-room JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai, 470-room JW Marriott Chongqing and 549-room JW Marriott Hotel Beijing.
