Centara Hotels & Resorts has signed management contracts on two properties in Thailand, The Bhundhari Spa Resort & Villas Samui, A Centara Resort, located in Chaweng Noi Samui and the Centara Pariya Resort & Villas in Koh Pa-ngan. Both properties are owned by the Orapin Beach Resort Group.

Completed in December 2008 and positioned directly on the fine, white sand of the Northern part of Chaweng Beach, less than 10 minutes from the heart of Chaweng’s shopping and nightlife, the 5-star Bhundhari Spa Resort & Villas’ stunning architecture and interior design encompasses 59 rooms and 62 Suites and Villas – many with their own private pools.

A host of leisure and recreational facilities are available and to take the guest experience to a new level Centara Hotels & Resorts has introduced their famous Club concept with a Club Lounge offering 5 complimentary meal servings daily including complimentary evening cocktails and canapés.

The Pariya Resort & Villas is a 4-star resort built only 2 years ago on the white sands of Yuan Beach on the peaceful southeastern coast of the paradise island of Koh Pa-Ngan  and just 20 minutes by speedboat from Koh Samui.

Combining all the qualities of a Tropical Island escape with the services and standards of a 4-star resort, the Pariya Resort & Villas is fronted by the crystal blue sea and has a backdrop of a jungle clad mountain.

There are 5 rooms and 39 Villas – some with their own Jacuzzis – and the minimum room size is an impressive 72 sqm.

Gerd Steeb, President of Centara Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to have concluded the agreement to manage these two beautiful properties. They fit perfectly the Centara Hotels & Resorts profile and we are confident that we can bring to bear the full advantages of Centara Hotels & Resorts Operating and Sales and Marketing practice to the benefit of both the Owners and the guests.

These are very exciting times - Centara Hotels & Resorts is in the process of an aggressive but controlled expansion programme both domestically and internationally through our own built projects and Management agreements and we expect to be able to make further announcements of this nature in the future.”
