First Hotel UNO in Thailand Opens in Bangkok

Hotel UNO, the signature brand of HotelCorp., has opened its first hotel in Thailand, the 56-room Sacha’s Hotel UNO located on Sukhumvit 19 in central Bangkok.

Sacha’s Hotel UNO aims to provide 5-star quality rooms at very affordable rates. It is centrally located on Sukhumvit 19 in the heart of downtown Bangkok with easy access to Asoke/Sukhumvit intersection. The hotel is conveniently situated for business travelers, with some of Bangkok’s premier corporate buildings and towers, the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre close by and walking distance to the Asoke BTS Skytrain Station and Sukhumvit MRT Subway Metro Station, as well as the city’s famed shopping and nightlife areas.

The pillars of the Hotel UNO concept is to provide the Best Bed – guests indulge in king-size bed with goose down quilts and crisp linens of 300 thread count, layered sheets of the highest standards, with extra supportive mattresses, and a selection of pillows; the Perfect Shower – no expense is spared in creating an ensuite bathroom space of bliss, with soothing lighting, spacious interiors and overhead rain showers; and the Ideal Workspace – spacious work desk, high speed wireless internet access and an HDTV with interactive services on demand and satellite channels.

Room choices ranges from Standard, Superior and Deluxe with modern and stylish furnishings highlighted by 32-inch flatscreen with satellite TV showing major international networks and news channels, multimedia connectivity hub (for DVD players, laptops, gaming consoles, thumbdrives etc.), climate controlled air conditioning system, electronic safe that can fit a computer laptop, tea-coffee making facilities, USB charger, iron/ironing board, hair dryer, IDD telephone and international adaptors in all rooms.

The main dining outlet of the hotel – BISTRO 19 – features specialty Thai cuisine with modern twist and boasts of international and Italian entrees. unomondo which means “one world” is a specialty news cafe that serves a large variety of local and international beverages; choices of hot snacks and pastries available all day for the travelers. Here guests can watch TV news, read international news papers, magazines while enjoying a variety of signature coffee, tea and other beverages.
