China Airlines to Launch Singapore - Surabaya Flights

China Airlines is to expand its daily Taipei-Singapore route to include Surabaya, the second-largest city in Indonesia, beginning on 20 May 2009.

To celebrate the new route, and its upcoming 50th Anniversary, China Airlines is offering a discounted ticket price of about NT$ 8,500. In addition, China Airlines is cooperating with travel agencies to launch a ‘Surabaya and Bali 6-day Tour’ that only costs about NT$ 26,900. A round trip business class fare starts from NT$ 16,000 only, and an economy class round trip from NT$ 8,500.

CAL will operate the Taipei-Singapore-Surabaya route on a daily basis.

Surabaya is the capital of the province of East Java. Surabaya's tourist attractions include a towering volcano, a famous ‘wild zoo,’ and an atmospheric mosque, among many others.
