Daydream Island Resort and Spa in Australia is
transferring MICE specialist Ella Jones from Conferencing and
Incentives into a new role as Sales Manager-Leisure. Her new
position will involve strengthening relationships with current
wholesalers and retail agents.
“I’m very excited
about the move,” Ella said. “Part of my new job
will also involve calling on retail agents to tell them about
what’s happening on Daydream Island, as well as any new specials
we might have. It’s something we haven’t been able
to do in the past and I think it’s a great initiative to build
awareness of Daydream Island within the travel industry.”
Ella has been with
Daydream for over two years and has a strong background working in
the tourism industry, including working as a Marketing Executive
with Tourism Whitsundays. She has a Bachelor of Business majoring
in Tourism Management.
Ella
is based at the Daydream Island Resort and Spa office in Brisbane.
