Senior Sales & Marketing Appointments at Preferred Hotel Group

Preferred Hotel Group has appointed Peggy Yip as Director, Marketing - Asia Pacific and Kaori Yamaguchi as Director, Global Sales - Japan.

Based in Hong Kong, Peggy Yip will be responsible for marketing initiatives, partner relations and revenue-generating strategies for Preferred Hotel Group and its members in Asia Pacific.

With a wealth of hospitality consulting knowledge with specialized global organizations such as HVS and Horwath HTL, she was instrumental in her role as a Senior Consultant in generating revenue and conducting feasibility studies throughout North America and Asia.

Peggy obtained her Masters and Bachelor of Science degrees at New York University.

“We are extremely excited to welcome Peggy and Kaori to the growing Asia Pacific team. Peggy’s marketing, consulting and analytic experience will be an asset to our member hotels while Kaori will be reasserting Japan as an important global source market for our member hotels,” said Mark Simmons, Area Managing Director – Asia.

Based in Tokyo, Kaori Yamaguchi joins Preferred Hotel Group with over 15 years of senior sales and marketing experience at Hyatt Regency Osaka and Grand Hyatt Tokyo in Japan.

She will lead sales strategies for outbound business to Preferred Hotel Group members worldwide as well as inbound business strategies for its Japan members and Japan based marketing initiatives. Prior to joining, she was Grand Hyatt Tokyo’s Director of Sales & Marketing.
