Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Monday, 2 November 2009

Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) is a key sponsor of the Premiere Middle Eastern luxury brand and business development conference ‘Leaders in Luxury’; where it is highlighting the luxury offering available at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s new Terminal 3. This includes more than 20 dedicated designer boutiques and luxury goods exclusive to the airport, and is part of ADAC’s “Shop-Dine-Unwind” concept.

Shop-Dine-Unwind is a combination of fine dining and luxury shopping at Abu Dhabi International Airport’s Terminal 3, where the best-in-class boutique retail and dining has been an instant success with passengers since it opened earlier this year. The concept will be an integral part of the future Midfield Terminal Complex, where it will offer 25,000 square metres of premium retail and food and beverage space.

In this regard, Mr. Daniell Cappell, Vice President of Non-Aeronautical Revenue and Business Development at ADAC, said, “We are delighted to unveil our Shop-Dine-Unwind concept at this conference dedicated to luxury. We are immensely proud of our airport experience at Terminal 3, and feedback from our customers has been great.”

“The Shop-Dine-Unwind concept is simple – to provide the best airport experience to our passengers with a luxurious journey through the airport, and to make Abu Dhabi International Airport the perfect entry point to a unique destination. At Terminal 3, we have created a boutique galleria experience with high end brand boutiques such as Jimmy Choo, Hermes and Loewe, and an environment unlike any other airport.”

The Leaders in Luxury conference will welcome international luxury brands and offers networking opportunities as well as a platform for dialogue. The conference opens today, 2 November, 2009, with a pre-conference focus day, followed by the two-day conference. It concludes with a post conference masterclass 5 October, 2009.
