The Conrad Bangkok has just completed a THB46million renovation of its Residences, to cater for the growing number of expatriates and long stay guests.

The renovation, which officially opened on Thursday, includes new technology features such as WiFi High Speed Broadband internet, large LCD flat screen TV sets extended with a Sony PlayStation 3 for the young at heart, and a high security electronic key card system. The room interior has also undergone a complete revamp with new furnishings and decor as well as updated kitchen equipment.

Conrad Bangkok Residences General Manager, Mr. Manfred Pieper, said, “We are seeing solid demand for our long term serviced residences within the expatriate community, which is growing off the back of continued investment in Thailand and increasing of ‘medical tourism’ with first class hospitals close by.

“This renovation offers our guests a value added range of services and an experience that will help make their long term stay in Thailand, one to remember.”

The Conrad Bangkok Residences are located in one of the sought after locations in Bangkok at All Seasons Place. The property includes 112 luxury suites on seven storeys, that range from studios to one and large two-bedroom deluxe suites.

“Within the complex we have a supermarket, pharmacy, banks, retail shops, restaurants, a food court and even a medical clinic. The convenience this provides frequently has our guests staying longer than planned,” Mr. Pieper added.

Guests can choose between long and short stays with yearly leases or even stays of just a few days available. The Conrad Bangkok Residences also shares the facilities and services of the Conrad Bangkok, which boasts a health club, swimming pool, spa complex, tennis courts and numerous food and beverage choices.
