Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has teamed up with Bath & Body Works to help fight flu and colds by distributing complimentary bottles of the retailer’s PocketBac Deep Cleansing Hand Gel to arriving guests at 10 Wyndham airport hotels.

The waterless, pocket-sized hand sanitizers, which are supposed to kill 99.99% of the most common germs that may cause illness, will be distributed as a pilot program while supplies last.

“With flu season in full swing, we wanted to provide our guests with a simple, yet effective resource to mitigate their risk of contracting a cold or the flu or inadvertently spreading their own illness,” said Jeff Wagoner, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts president. “This is just one more way that Wyndham hotels care for guests as part of our ‘Be Well’ philosophy.”

The pocket-sized bottle contains natural ingredients and powerful germ killers that get hands clean without water or the alcohol scent. The waterless hand gel is available at participating Wyndham hotels in Warm Vanilla Sugar and Coconut Lime Verbena fragrances, as well as unscented.

In addition to the hand sanitizers, guests also will receive a special offer for a free antibacterial item of choice with any purchase of $10 or more redeemable at any of nearly 1,600 Bath & Body Works retail locations.

Pocketbac waterless hand gels will be distributed by the Wyndham Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, Miami; Wyndham Garden Hotel – Newark Airport, Newark, N.J.; Wyndham Indianapolis West, Indianapolis; Wyndham Portland Airport Hotel, Portland, Maine; Wyndham Garden Hotel – Oklahoma City Airport, Oklahoma City; Wyndham Dallas Love Field, Dallas; Wyndham DFW Airport North, Dallas; Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel and Water Park, El Paso, Texas; Wyndham Richmond Airport, Richmond, Va.; and Wyndham Milwaukee Airport and Convention Center, Milwaukee.

Wyndham hotels also feature the Bath & Body Works True Blue Spa line in guest rooms.
