Wyndham Hotel Group, one of the world’s largest hotel companies, with more than 7,000 hotels and 11 brands, has appointed Andrew Stull as vice president of operations for the 90-property Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham brand.

In his new role, Stull will be responsible for the oversight and execution of key strategic goals for the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham brand, serving as the primary point of contact for hotel operational issues, focusing on guest satisfaction and franchisee needs.

Prior to joining Wyndham Hotel Group, Stull served in management and director level operations roles for various companies in the hospitality and service industries, including more than 13 years with Extended Stay Hotels, the hotel management company responsible for operating nearly 700 hotels throughout the U.S and Canada, including those making up the Extended Stay Deluxe and Extended Stay America hotel chains.

Most recently, Stull was responsible for the facilities and grounds operations of 68 schools throughout the state of New Jersey for Philadelphia based ARAMARK Education.

“Andy is an accomplished and talented hospitality professional who has a long history of working in the extended-stay arena,” said Bill Hall, Hawthorn Suites brand senior vice president. “His experience and guidance will prove to be crucial as we finish transitioning the Hawthorn Suites brand into the “by Wyndham” family.”

Earlier this year, Wyndham announced that Hawthorn Suites would become the second hotel brand to become affiliated with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, changing its name this month to Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. The affiliation is designed to leverage marketing, sales and training across all three brands while broadening the overall consumer base.

To formalize the affiliation, the brand will have a new refreshed red and orange brand logo that incorporates key design elements of the Wyndham logo.

Hawthorn Suites Franchising, a member of the Wyndham Hotel Group family of lodging brands, is a chain of extended-stay hotels located throughout the world, featuring studio and one-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens and wet bars.

Standard amenities include complimentary high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, expanded cable television, hot breakfast buffet, daily newspaper and Wednesday evening social hour. Select properties allow pets and offer meeting and fitness facilities, swimming pools, guest laundry, convenience store items, valet and grocery services.
